Add a Splash of Colour of Your Style with Aada Collection From Aga Culture

Aada is Aga culture’s first clothing collection, full of colour and inspirations. With this collection , the designer- Moyo collaborated with – Adekepemi, a multimedia artist. The collection was inspired by Moyo’s Childhood, dreams made up of endless strings of Hibiscus flowers and freehand drawings to while away the days in Ibadan.

The bright colours of bustling Ibadan street markets and pulsating rhythms of Lagos informed the colour palette as well as the calm nostalgic spirit of childhood days roaming in hibiscus garden, drawing the simple shapes, architectural lines, and bold colors reflect the notion of “clothing as art” and ‘clothing as a story board’. The vibrant fashion collection mainly female , also has a mix of androgynous pieces .

SIGNATURE

In Victorian times, giving a hibiscus meant that the giver was acknowledging the receiver’s delicate beauty. In the same way, we acknowledge that each and every one of us has a delicate beauty waiting to be acknowledged. In the AADA collection,  from AGA CULTURE, there is an acknowledgement of the delicate beauty in you. VERDICT – We love the colour vibe of the collection. The casual appeal resonates with the choice of hues .  Although thee is a seeming similarity with an already existing brand , the hibiscus print stamps its own individual statement with the Aada collection . We will look out to see if this seal of authenticity still pulls through . In all – We love the energy this collection brings .
