My Battle with the Dreaded Coronavirus…Part 3

Nigerian /Uk based Fashion accessory designer and enthusiast – Laydeejayne Olaitan recently took to her social media page to give a blow by blow experience with her battle with the dreaded Coronavirus .

Still in the recovery stage, she expressed her gratitude to those who stood by her when she was fighting for her life . see below her ordeal and how she finally beat Covid19 .

FINAL PART

Day 9;

Woke up feeling uplifted… a lot of people were aware of what I was going through….

111 called and we went through the same routine…

Phone calls came in from every where… prayers… positive words of encouragements…

I even got money o wink 👀wink 👀 😁 to stock up online groceries. E se oooo 🙏

Still having most of the symptoms…
*Tiredness
*sore throat
*cant smell
*cant taste
*no appetite

But thankfully my Acid Reflux wahala has gone, no more headaches, my voice was back 80%

I wanted to survive so bad … I needed to!

I continued with the Steam treatment atleast 3 times a day…

I could sleep properly now.

Day 10,
Same routine….

Now I could smell a bit…
I wanted to eat so bad … so I had Rice and chicken stew… it was nice to finally eat properly…

Taste bud coming back slowly…

Still doing the stream treatment with the Aboniki…

Started drinking hot water with Apple cider vinegar … it really helped.

Could sleep properly now…

My body started to heal up… I started singing like a mad woman… it made my son laugh 😁🤣😂🤣 cus i was trying very hard.

Day 11,

Woke up and I could smell well…

Had a piece of chicken from the stew and it tasted so nice 😋

111 routine… I was told I am almost in the clear…
It felt so good….

I started taking Beecham’s Breathe Clear… it really helped to clear my throat…

Still doing the steam treatment 3 times a day…

Could eat… could smell… taste bud is back…

My spirit is fantastic… I still could not see my son though…we were talking on the phone all the time but he was happy that my naughty and wahala self was back 😁

Day 12,

All symptoms Gone, my temperature was stable… I could breathe well, my airways is fantastic.
111 said I am out of it and my status would be updated.

I made vegetable stew with orishirish 😁
I had it with Eba… deli deli delicious 😋

Keto is on hold for now abeg, I cant come and keel myself… 😂

I told my son to wear a face mask and gloves so that he can at least see me…

Oh I was too happy that he wasnt seeing me in a morgue…
I hugged him so tight… within 2 minutes as a mother I started o… kileleyi? What is all these scatter scatter biabia 😂🤣😂😂
” what is that on your head? You look like a Taliban, what is that on your tongue, you didnt brush your tongue ni?. Oloorun Òbun buruku 😁😂🤣… now you look like a Ghanaian, black like charcoal… 😂🤣😂

He was like Mum!!!! You are back with your nagging 🤣😂🤣😂

Its was good to be back… I am continuing the steam treatment the one with Aboniki, I will do it every night before I go to bed… even if it’s only for 5 minutes.

I am stronger… I am honoured to be here, I feel so special…
It is not my doing but by the special Grace of God!
I am thankful! 🙏

I realized I lost 2 of my Facebook friends to this Coronavirus… I pray that their lovely souls rest in Paradise. Amen!
