In a glittering finale held at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Chidimma Adetshina, representing Taraba State, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
Previously a finalist in the Miss South Africa pageant, Adetshina joined the Miss Universe Nigeria competition after an invitation from the organizers, Silverbird Group. She succeeded Mitchel Ihezue, the 2023 titleholder.
As the new queen, Adetshina received a cash prize of ₦10 million and other valuable gifts. She will also have the honor of representing Nigeria at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November.
