• Ejiro Amos Tafiri debuts Menswear Line – For one who is well known for her timeless women pieces , it was a fresh dose of excitement to see her creative interpretation for the male folk .

• Mariam Afolabi Badmus Resurfaces – Nothing much was heard from her Mazelle brand since her getting hitched . This is return was done with a bang and we hope this will re launch the brand back into conversations

• Ladymaker Making Giant Strides in the Nigerian Fashion space- The Ladymaker brand has since left the realm of upcoming( we wonder why she is still referred to as Upcoming despite being consistent and a few international shows later )  to taking her space confidently as an established designer. With two shows back to back ( from Lagos fashion week to Gtco fashion weekend ) the brand wowed us with her intricate and mind blowing pieces .

• Banke Kuku Ups the Ante – Known for her easy breezy lounge wears has maintained her style signature and raised the bar in designs just when she was just labelled the lounge wear queen . The eponymous brand which had a good year , rounded it up on this global stage on a printstatic note .
