Styled by our very own Swanky Jerry in a custom made  kud collection outfit , made the Best Dressed list at the film festival . One wonders if we would be seeing more of this color at the oncoming AMVCA event this weekend .

• Roli Bode George Unveils Glamorous Fashion Concept Store in Lekki

  Over the weekend , Lagos based Business woman and Politician – Roli Bode – George launched a fashion concept store in the heart of Lekki Phase 1 called RBG Concept Store . The store which has brands like House of Sota , Amarelis , RBG and a few others , also has various fashion accessories and some of the most interesting artworks of the Past and Present decorate their walls .

In a recent instagram post tagged – “Make it make sense”, social media influencer – Laura Ikeji calls out on global fashion platform – Fashion Nova for putting on sale an item she purchased recently for $209.99 now slashed to $23 . Upset Laura who purchased the clothing item from the Luxe section of the fashion website, rather than receive sympathy from her followers, had majority of them giving her lessons of how to shop online especially from the Luxury department instead . Adeju Thompson of Lagos Space Programme Wins International Woolmark Prize

Lagos Space Programme, the nonbinary luxury label by Adeju Thompson, was named winner of the International Woolmark Prize on Monday.The Nigerian designer triumphed over seven other designers who were tasked with creating a capsule collection using merino wool and has clinched the cash prize of AU $200,000 ($134025) to put toward the development of their business.

Danish knitwear label A. Roege Hove took home the Karl Lagerfeld Award for Innovation which comes with a AU $100,000 ($67,000) cash prize.This year’s competition was judged by a panel of industry heavyweights including Alessandro Sartori, Zegna’s artistic director, Franceso Risso, creative director of Marni, model Caroline de Maigret, photographer Tyler Mitchell and Business of Fashion’s editor-at-large, Tim Blanks.

Nigeria on the map again as Mowalola Ogunlesi’s Bold and Boundary Pushing piece for the  new design for Yeezy’s new line 2023 has been modelled by Bianca Censori the wife of Kanye West .

The barely there outfit isn’t the 1st time Mowalola has shocked all with her newest delivery! The young lady at 28 is considered a fashion genius . She’s a graduate of Csm News with a BA in fashion. Mowalola also started her MA at the same school before dropping out. Mowa designed the uniform for Nigeria’s world Cup team for Nike. Her genderless clothing line has drawn quite the attention in recent times especially since she started worlking with Kanye .  She is the daughter of  Ruff n Tumble kids owner Adenike Ogunlesi & Adegbola Ogunlesi co-owner of fashion house Sophisticat designs. Guess she got the fashion design streak from both parents . She is also a singer.
