Fashion Reports : Nigerian Ambassadors at the 10th Togo Fashion Festival Anniversary

The International Fashion Festival in Togo (FIMO 228) has established itself for ten years now as a benchmark fashion event that promotes the talents of designers from all over the world. Like every fashion event, FIMO 228 reflects the art in fashion and all the cultures of the countries represented by the designers present.

This year , quite a number of fashion brands ripped the runway with their creative pieces all displaying Africa in various interpretations . Of course Nigeria was not left out with f invited brands like Vanskere , Ejiro Amos Tafiri & Kosibah .

This year , the 10th edition of FIMO 228 has the social theme “Fashion is committed to protecting the environment” and the artistic theme “Féérie”.

The Nigerian owned brands both home based and overseas, charged the event with their colorful and creative vibe . From sporty to high occasion wears , luxe menswear to premium women pieces , the designers drove home the message of – We know how to show up and show out .

With homegrown brands like Ejiro Amos Tafiri , Vanskere , Del Africa & Signore Fusion to Overeseas brands like Jants , Kosibaj & Grace Wallace  alongside other brands from Ethopia , Berlin , France , Benin , Togo Tunasia , Morocco ….made the 4 days fashion festival a very rich and memorable one .
