The journey began on Wednesday, November 27th, with a moving Service of Songs at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ikate, Surulere, Lagos. This was followed by a deeply emotional Wake-keep on December 4th at the prestigious Eko Club, Blessing Hall, where loved ones gathered to share heartfelt stories, laughter, and cherished memories.
The following day, Mrs. Latunji’s family and friends reunited for a solemn Lying-in-State at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, leading into a soul-stirring funeral service in the same sacred space. Her final journey brought her to the tranquil Ikoyi Private Vaults, where she was laid to rest with love, dignity, and honor.
While the farewell carried moments of reflection, it was also infused with celebration and joy. A reception followed at the exquisite Jewel Aeida Place, Hakeem Dickson Road, Lekki, Lagos, where the air buzzed with warmth, music, and shared memories. Guests were serenaded by the soothing and vibrant melodies of Demola Olota and his band, adding a musical tribute to the life of a truly remarkable woman.
