I’ve always been fascinated by the arts and its many expressions. Being a creative person in the media, make up naturally appealed to me. After application there was something about the psychological impact that excited me and I wanted to futher explore. After studying Mass Communication at Nnamdi Azikiwe University I trained with Mud to become a certified make up artist while exploring my passion in the media simultaniously. Lookartme is a beauty movement lending its voice to tell the story of the modern african. Who is bold and empowered to take decisions including how she looks  after a setback.

…..I learnt the hard way that when certain things happen you are not expected to be seen, heard, have a voice or make choices. Bury your head in shame and disappear while you take whatever life hands you.

I realised after my set back when i showed up to work without make up i attracted sympathy, the kind thats very distracting in the work place, but when I showed up with make up even without saying a word, people would LOOKARTME and know i meant buisness. With make up you can show up each day looking like a better version of yourself. It empowered me to flip the script, and by not having to look like what i was going  through i was better channel my energy and fell more in love with the idea of launching my own make up line that would make other women feel so emporwered.
I have always loved Lip stick and lip gloss  it is one of the 1st make up product  most women can attest to apply even when it was just sneaking into mummy or aunties make up purse as curious kids. Personally My lips has been one of my most talked about physical feature and lips particularly stand out when you apply make up and so when the time to Launch Lookartme brand came. I decided on Lipstick first. I Launched a collection of 5 Lip shades every woman can easily relate with, 3 Mattes and 2 Glosses. There’s a shade for every mood. With the Lookartme Brand we are empowering women to envision who they want to be and show up as that person, regardless of what they have been through they can show up saying I dont need to hide because of my imperfections, I believe the world is my stage LOOKARTME.
The Lipvolution collection is certainly one to watch come 2019, because it caters to the beauty needs of all types of ladies, from who wants to be remain youthful to those who know how to grab attention and to the fierce ones who can hold their own .
LOOKARTME is set to conquer to cosmetic airwaves.
