Nigerian Fashion Brand Piillz n Poizn Takes Center Stage at Miss Universe Angola 2022

Nigeria is not only scoring points in the sports sector globally as one of our very own fast rising fashion brands – Piillz n Poizn was hand picked to style all 25 contestants of the just concluded Miss Universe Angola 2022 .

  • Saturday, August 6 at Pérola dos Navegantes in Benguela, 24-year-old Swelia Da Silva Antonio was crowned the new Miss Universe Angola 2022. Swlelia who is a social scientist, from the Netherlands-to beat 24 other contestants to win the national competition.
    The highlight of the evening were the up- to – the – minute dresses designed by Nigerian fashion brand – Piillz n Poizn which were worn by all the 25 contestants individually.

    Each pieces celebrated the contestants feminine form and silhouette tastefully in various colours and textures embellished in rich swarovski crystals, glass beads and paillettes. The brand  which has dressed many home and international stars , was carefully selected based on its consistency in exquisite designs and mastery of elegant pieces – some key qualities Piillz n Poizn has possessed  since inception.
    According to the head designer behind the fast emerging fashion brand,…..“ This was a welcome challenge and I’m glad my team and I were not just able to rise to the occasion but meet and surpass standard expectations. We made the clothes with general sizing because we had only 6 measurements out of the 25 girls,…..I am glad the dresses came out perfectly fitted ,the dresses were all produced in Nigeria and we arrived luanda 3 days to the event,did our fittings and we were good to go.”

All the grand dresses  were worn at the grand finale of the contest .
Swelia Da Silva Antonio who succeeds Miss Angola 2019 Salett Natalia Martins Miguel and will represent her country at Miss Universe 2022.
