Nigerian Fashion Designer – Lisa Folawiyo Calls Out British Vogue

Lisa Folawiyo recently called out fashion bible – British Vogue for using her picture as a cover for an article without any back links to her page.

The article which was titled- Welcome , Summer’s Chicest Heel , had a picture from her IG page wearing a pair of Amina Muaddi sculptural wedges. The article which was centered around the footwear, did not meet the designer – “Filled with  gratitude” for the use of her picture .

According to Lisa…..”You see the days when we felt grateful just to be “seen “on these pages are over .Sigh . If you are to leverage using my image, I too, will , must leverage from it ….”
