In the Saddle: GTCO Plc Leads the Charge at 2024 NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament

The 120th edition of the NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament, proudly sponsored by Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO), is poised to kick off a spectacular four-week celebration at the esteemed Lagos Polo Club, Ikoyi, from January 23rd to February 18th, 2024. A beacon for global polo excellence, the Lagos Polo Club has consistently attracted top players and their equine companions.

In the previous edition, the competition witnessed a historic showdown as Leighton Kings secured the Majekodunmi Cup in a thrilling encounter against Lintex Intercontra. This year promises even more excitement with 39 teams vying for victory across major league cups, including the Silver Cup, Low Cup, Open Cup, and the coveted Majekodunmi Cup.

The 2024 Lagos International Polo Tournament isn’t just a sporting event; it’s a cultural extravaganza. Spectators can anticipate electrifying polo matches, accompanied by live performances from renowned Nigerian artists. The event will be accessible to a global audience through live streaming.
