LISA & RENE FOLAWIYO SPEAK ON END SARS TO HARPERS BAZAAE MAGAZINE
Nigerian fashion designer Lisa Folwaiyo and Businesswoman behind Lagos Boutique Alára; Rene Folawiyo both aired their view on the END SARS protest with Harpers Bazaar magazine. According to Lisa , it is about ending all forms of police brutality, and also a need for police reform, and a restructuring of the Nigerian government. She further said that the movement is a much-needed call for safe and better lives for all, equality, justice, new leadership, and good governance. While Rene said she has been listening to the experiences of young people around her, her staff, many creatives, the ordinary people going about their daily errands who have had horrible experiences with SARS.
