This season, the iconic heritage luxury brand; Tiffany Amber, ushered in the start of her 20th anniversary celebrations by partnering with the French luxury cosmetics house, Lancôme and Africa’s most luxurious concept store ALARA, to present a breathtaking SS 2019 collection, ‘MADE IN AFRICA…MADE FOR NOW’ against the beautiful backdrop of the ALARA store. Lancôme reinforced its global makeup leadership in its decision to partner with Tiffany Amber.
The collection was aptly named,‘MADE IN AFRICA…MADE FOR NOW’. According to the Creative Director, Folake Akindele Coker, the collection is for a bold woman with a deep sense of self, who is not afraid to experiment with her culture. She exudes a new type of effortless chic, a new type of style, a new type of cool, a new type of elegance that is made in Africa and made for now.
The collection was first presented in Paris during the Paris Fashion Week in September 2019, where it received rave reviews from the VOGUE International editor; Suzy Menkes, amongst others.
