Why You Won’t Find My Designs On the Runway – Felix Asuquo of FAI

You see his sharp cuts and well structured designs pop up every now and then on our timelines and sometimes wonder – Who is that guy ?A model turned menswear fashion designer , Felix Asuquo aka Fai is no stranger o the fashion scene as he has been through the rungs. Being an integral part of the backstage madness at fashion events , Asuquo cut his teeth is the ever evolving world of fashion .

Felix Asuquo Itakok, hails from Akamkpa local government of Cross River state, born to a family of 7, 4 males and 3 females , occupying the position of  last born. He studied medical laboratory scientist in the university of Calabar and has been into fashion which he has been a part of for 8years now His  fashion designing career has been running  for 5 years as he started his fashion brand by modelling most of his pieces back in 2017.

One would wonder why he has remained so unpopular on the runway . According to Felix ….”well why my brand has not been on runway shows is because I gave much time to bespoke tailoring, so for every piece I make is strictly for a client…”.

His cuts f timeless piece that would stand the test of time, is one unique selling point that stand his creation out .While brands he looks up to are Mai AtafoDeola Sagoe, for their originality  and consistency . And as to whom the FAI man could be ? Felix puts it simply – A FAI man’s style is different from the nom.
