Recently, Kim Kardashian West openly lamented having cut her hair above the shoulders. But while a little growing and a lot of extensions remedied that regret, it seems she has a whole new attitude about bobs this year. She’s been seen wearing her hair in a sleek lob lately. And she not only sported a freshly cut bob during a recent Today appearance, she then cut it even shorter afterwards.
While chatting with Hoda Kotb about Skims, her new shapewear line, Kardashian West revealed that her latest look — a shorter lob that’s slightly longer in the front (above) — was the result of her go-to stylist Chris Appleton cutting it right before she showed up for the interview. (In fact, it’s not unlike the look Appleton recently gave Jennifer Lopez.) But apparently, Appleton didn’t cut quite as much as he wanted to because Kardashian West took to Twitter to tell her followers, “BTW Chris wants to cut my hair another inch. Should we???”
Despite plenty of fans answering that she shouldn’t, to the delight of those who said she should, Kardashian West clearly let Appleton do what he wanted. A few hours after her Today appearance, she was seen attending the S by Serena Williams fashion show with what may be her shortest bob ever — it’s definitely not a lob anymore. Now all one length, the straight, middle-parted style curves under a little at the ends, nearly brushing her jawline.
