This German-made soap contains Butylphenyl Methylpropional (BMHCA), a chemical linked to potential harm to the reproductive system, unborn babies, and skin irritation.
This impurity violates Nigeria’s cosmetic regulations, leading to the recall. Similar Dove products containing BMHCA have also been banned or recalled in other countries.
