Are International Fashion & Lifestyle brands – Fendi & Gucci fighting over Hushpuppi?
One of Nigeria’s favourite label lover on social media – Raymond Igbalodely popularly known as Hushpuppi seems to be in high demand by some foreign labels like Fendi and Gucci .
Hushpuppi whose love for the finer things got him the nickname – Unofficial Gucci ambassador , also had his social media handle parade the Gucci brand as well as his daily uploads which saw him jet from one shop to another trying to satisfy his Gucci cravings . Once , when he started patronizing Fendi and other brands, Gucci gifetd him with some personalised pieces which comprised of a shirt and a blazer with his name embroidered on the items ( he has since deleted the videos ) still, this did not stop him from excersing his fashion rights as a label lover .
Today the story is different as he has moved over to another brand who seems to be more appreciative of his constant patronage – Fendi . As recently , he was the ONLY black man to be invited to an exclusive party of Fendi enthusiasts .
Now it seems he has shifted his loyalty to Fendi as seen on his social media pages which are now tagged- Billonaire Fendi Master instead of The Billionaire Gucci Master as seen on his snapchat and Instagram handles below
He also has started branding his page more with the Fendi side of life as seen below
Recently , he got birthday cakes from both brands ……
The question now is , Is Husspuppi done with Gucci for good ? Or does the Gucci brand need to do more asides customize clothes for him to win him back on their side ?
