In 2009 the Lagos State Government appointed Ms.Akinnifesi as the “Environmental Ambassador. Omowunmi holds a certificate in Women in Entrepreneurship and Leadership in Africa (WELA) at the China European International Business School (CIEBS). She was a delegate at the Executive program in Business and Innovation at the Harvard Business School.She studied business at the Alibaba Business school in China, and she also studied Business and innovation at IESE New York. Apart from starting her own coaching practice named 360 Coaching Company, Ms.Akinnifesi started a ready-to-wear clothing brand named “Omowunmi”. She is also the founder of Global Women Africa,a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on young women empowerment through entrepreneurship training and skill acquisition.
