According to reports from PM News.first Nigerian Professor of Statistics and father of award winning writer Chimamanda Adichie, Professor James Nwoye Adichie has passed on.
He was said to have died on Wednesday night, June 10. Before his death, he was admitted to the Chira Memorial Hospital in Awkuzu, Oyi local government area of Anambra state.
Professor James Nwoye is a native of Abba in Anambra state. He was a retired professor of Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He was a member of International Statistical Institute (ISI) and he is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
