
FashionEVO Summit & Show Zambia 2026: An Overview
FashionEVO, a pan-African platform dedicated to advancing the continent’s fashion industry, hosted the FashionEVO Summit & Show Zambia 2026 from July 2–3, 2026, in Lusaka. Held as part of the Africa Creative Market (ACM), the event was organized in collaboration with Zambia’s Ministry of Youth, Sport & Arts, the Creative Industries Business Summit (CIBS), the National Arts Council (NAC), and the Kwimbo National Arts Festival.

Positioned at the intersection of creativity, commerce, policy, and innovation, the summit convened diverse stakeholders—including designers, manufacturers, buyers, investors, and policymakers—into a unified ecosystem. Centered around the theme, “Creative Convergence: Where Creativity, Technology and Collaboration Harness Global Greatness,” the event marked a major milestone in FashionEVO’s continental expansion and highlighted Lusaka’s rise as a creative and business hub.
The key components of the event were –The FashionEVO Summit which was hosted at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, The FashionEVO Fashion Show & Awards-which held at Polo B, Lusaka Showgrounds, and the Pop-Up Boutique experience- which was a curated retail environment allowed designers to connect directly with consumers, buyers, and cultural audiences throughout the event.

According to Dr. Yetty Ogunnubi, Founder & CEO of FashionEVO, “FashionEVO was created from the belief that African fashion must move beyond visibility into structure, ownership, market access, and global competitiveness,” . She also emphasized the platform’s commitment to building sustainable systems for global scale.
Ultimately, the landmark event attracted widespread participation from global and regional stakeholders, successfully driving long-term growth and collaboration across the African fashion landscape.
