The Austrian Lace Award Event recently held in Lagos brought together key stakeholders in the fashion and textile industry to celebrate excellence in Austrian lace craftsmanship and retail. The ceremony honoured outstanding Austrian lace sellers with Certificates of Excellence, recognising their commitment to quality, innovation, and the promotion of premium lace within the Nigerian market.
The event also featured a refined fashion showcase highlighting exceptional materials and designs from five renowned Austrian lace manufacturers—Riedmann, Oscar, HOH, Scheffknecht, and Amann. The runway presentation came alive through elegant creations by acclaimed Nigerian designer Lanre Da Silva Ajayi and bespoke menswear brand Aramanda, alongside emerging designers redefining contemporary fashion with Austrian lace.
The event reaffirmed Austrian lace’s enduring influence on Nigerian fashion, strengthening cultural and creative ties while inspiring both established and upcoming designers to continue pushing the boundaries of luxury textile design.
